A quick reminder about the upcoming Mike Fanelli Track Classic where we will celebrate and honor Mike. There will be a short ceremony before the Masters Mile where the Mike Fanelli Scholarship will be awarded and a check from the Impalas Running Club will be presented to Mike’s wife, Renay and the Meet Director for the Mike Fanelli Scholarship Fund.
If you want to register for the Masters Mile (scheduled for noon), please email your name, age, and club affiliation to Tom Lyons at tomlyons1700@yahoo.com. There is no entry fee. If you’re thinking about running please register ahead of time – preferably by Saturday March 23rd. You’ll be able to register up until race day but it’s better to register and not run as opposed to having a lot of race day registrations. There will be a competitive mile and other heats. If you can’t run please come and cheer – let’s show up for Mike!
If you want to donate to the Mike Fanelli Scholarship Fund please do so by Tuesday Mar 26th and indicate that the payment is for the “Mike Fanelli Scholarship Fund.”
