After running on the rolling paved path, past the old Nike missile silos, take sharp left and go through the gate and follow the rolling Scenterini Fire road to Aquinas drive. Mark your calendar for the start of Dipsea training 2024, Sunday, March 24th at 9:00 am. (8:45 for seniors), for a return to the challenging climb of Gold Hill, above Dominican University, San Rafael, CA.
The race starts on Locust Ave (park by the admissions building). The closest bathrooms are at the Gym. We will run the traditional course, following Locust Ave., to Gold Hill, up Gold Hill to the rolling paved path at the top, past the old Nike missile silos, and a sharp LEFT, down the Scenterini Fire Road, down Aquinas Drive, left on Dominican Drive, left on Sienna Way, right on Mountain View, to Grand (left on Grand), and take the next left back to Locust, and kick it in to the finish. According to Phil’s strava map, it’s 5.6 miles.
