The second 2024 TCRS was at Hamilton Feb 18 th 2024 and we lucked out with a sunny, warm morning! Forty seven runners, ranging in age from 32 to 83, turned out for the 5.25 mile flat course along the levees. The first runners in were early starters, Bill Neer and Danielle Herrerias looking strong and determined in their lead-off group.

Weather was great for our post-run social with bagels and fruit, arranged by Margaret Hansen. We want to give a huge Tamalpa shout out to our TCRS registration and results crew: Marko Trisnohadi, Jay Wiggers, Jim Myers and Kevin Mencer, registration managed by Lillie O’Reilly and results by Tom O’Reilly. Special thanks to this cheerful and capable crew, without whom we would not have the event!
Which brings us to a final note: a request. We need one more volunteer for the finish line crew for the next two TCRSs – March 24th, 2024 at Gold Hill and April 14 th at Rush Creek/Bahia. Please email president@tamalparunners.org if you are interested in volunteering!
