Tamalpa Runners’ Board is pleased to announce that the Tamalpa Headlands 50k is “off to the races!”once again. We are planning ahead for this exciting annual 50k trail race, with a new date and new Race Director.
Victor Ballesteros is our newest Race Director, following the footsteps of Race Director Jeffrey Stern who brought our race back after the Pandemic lockdown. Victor is looking forward to building on the momentum of last year’s race, and guiding us through the extra requirements of this being USATF’s championship 50k trail race for 2024! Jeffrey Stern did a fine job of organizing and executing last year, and his efforts contributed to us winning the bid to host the national championship in 2024.
We will soon announce registration for our race…stay tuned on UltraSignup, our website, and our social media.
Volunteers are asked to once again lend a hand…as the backbone of our race and runner’s experience. You can reach out to Victor or Carolyn Latham. Sponsorship suggestions are welcomed, as well.
