Sorry for bragging a bit, but since I have the keys to the website (really, just a password), I’d like to congratulate our son, Sidney, for his recognition by the Dipsea Foundation for a $5,000 college scholarship. Enjoy this beautiful video, produced by Tim Amyx, chronicling Sid’s Dipsea life, from a toddler to the present. Sid ran his first Dipsea as a 3rd grader – and has run it for 9 of the past 10 years. So, if you have a child, who runs, or wants to run the Dipsea, I highly encourage you to highly encourage them to experience, train and run this truly amazing, historic, challenging and rewarding race, each and every year – and to apply for a Dipsea foundation scholarship when they’re preparing to go to college.
