We will have our Tuesday Track Workout on Wednesday again this week. This should be the last track workout on a night other than Tuesday for the next several months. In other words,
The Tuesday Track Workouts will be on Tuesday Evenings for the foreseeable future. Tom O’Reilly will be coaching the workout next week. The workout is as detailed below:
TAMALPA RUNNERS TUESDAY EVENING TRACK WORKOUT on Wednesday 4/24/19
6:10 PM 1.7 MILE Warm up on streets around San Rafael High School or 1 to 2 miles on the track.
6:30 PM 4 Each 100 Meter Strides with a 100 Meter jog in between Strides.
A-Group 5 Each 1200 Meter Intervals @ 10K Pace (3 Laps) followed by 1 EACH 400M Interval @ 5K Pace. New Intervals will start 5-1/2 minutes after the start of the previous interval.
B/C-Groups 5 Each 800 Meter Intervals @ 10K Pace (2 Laps) followed by 1 EACH 300M Interval @ 5K Pace. New Intervals will start 5-1/2 minutes after the start of the previous interval.
Followed by Cool Down Jog
