Verity Breen was the first Female 50+ finisher at the Skyline 50K in Castro Valley on Sunday,
August 5, 2018. She bettered her time from 2017, when she was also the first Female
50+ finisher, by over 40 minutes. Good job Verity! Tony Verdon, Hans Schmid and
Carl Jacob were other Tamalpa finishers in the race. Tamalpa will be able to score a
Mixed Team or a Men’s Team in the Team Competition. It looks like a
Mixed Team is the way to go. Jason and Erika Reed, social Tamalpa Members who
race for Excelsior also finished the 50K. Good job Tamalpans!
